This course will introduce students to the product development lifecycle process, from ideation to reaching the shelf. Moreover, it will familiarise students with marketing techniques to put products on the market. Marketing is not just promotion and advertisement, it is a function that entails product design, branding, pricing, placement, location and promotion. The Organisational Behaviour and the Social Enterprise certificates examines major theories of organisational behaviour as a mechanism for managing people at work. Students will explore the implications for managers in enacting work and people management activities. The second part of the module aims to build on the information on the social enterprise and to help students understand why social entrepreneurship is necessary for development.
The structure of MIU online courses allow for a substantial amount of flexibility to ensure that students can access them across the globe and at any stage in life.
In all of our courses, you will find topics that are relevant and focused on teaching you the skills and mindset needed to succeed in a particular field.
Each course lasts for 14 weeks and requires around 8 hours of work each week. Depending on which style of learning you are enrolled in (blended or online), you may also have weekly class time included in these 8 hours where you will be working alongside classmates to further enhance your learning.
This class time, if applicable to you, will be set by your course tutor. They will include group discussions, case studies or other activities where students will have the opportunity to engage with the course tutor and peers.
Outside of class, or if you are a fully online learner, you will be required to do readings, watch course videos, complete assignments, and take short quizzes to test your knowledge. The tutor will be available by email for any questions concerning the course.

We provide scholarships to Forum for cities in Transition member cities (upto 10 students from each city). We have completed Smart incubator platform with BSC-Bar in Montenegro. MIU is a partner of organisation of OTI in Cyprus and InterCollege in Denmark for EU funded training courses.
